12 TOPS

Lynsey De Paul | Cover Version | “Sugar Me”

Taken from the LP ‘12 Tops – Volume 5’ | (Stereo Gold Award MER 101) August 1972

Lynsey De Paul | Cover Version | “Sugar Me” | The hot tracks kept coming during the Summer of 1972 with “Sugar Me” by Lynsey De Paul, “I Get The Sweetest Feeling” by Jackie Wilson, “Living In Harmony” by Cliff Richard and a pipe and slippers country ditty called “Four In The Morning” by Faron Young.

But it’s the long haired blonde lass De Paul who wins this particular shoot-out with stiff competition from David Cassidy, Slade and Roxy Music.
