Tracks taken from the album on (Chevron CHVPL 11) June 1979
Parade Of Pops | Volume 11 | (Chevron) | This record has a bit of a story attached to it. About a month ago I was scrolling my Facebook feed and one of the Charity shops in my area posted a few photos of their new stock.
In the background I saw a box of records and the one under today’s radar was right at the front. Well, of course I had to have it, another piece of death row junk added to my archives.
Next day I made the 8 mile round-trip on foot and secured this piece of budget label treasure for the price of a tin of pop.

Highlights include cheapo versions of Tubeway Army‘s “Are Friends Electric?”, Wings‘ “Old Siam, Sir”, Gerry Rafferty‘s “Night Owl”, I had no idea The Beach Boys were still having hits in the late seventies but here’s one, a take of “Lady Lynda”, and just scraping into my 5 track mix is “Breakfast In America”, a hit for Supertramp.
