Parade Of Pops | Vol 10 | Chevron | As often happens when scratching around for junk records in Charity shops the actual disc within the sleeve is incorrect, sometimes not there at all!

On this occasion I bought ‘Parade Of Pops – Volume 9′ but the LP for Volume 10 was enclosed. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Volume 10 has many songs I remember from my early teens including covered songs recorded by Blondie, The Police, David Bowie, Roxy Music and M. It was around this time that I bought my first album out of my own money. For the record (pun intended) it was ‘Parallel Lines’, from my Mother’s catalogue and paid for with spare pocket money in five monthly instalments.
