DAVID SOUL

David Soul | Why ‘Moods’ is a Must-Have for 70s Music Fans

“I Wish I Was” taken from the album “Moods” (K-Tel NE 1041) February 1979

Why ‘Moods’ is a Must-Have for 70s Music Fans | When you’ve hung out with 70s Pimp Huggy Bear and drove a wooden spike through ‘The Master’s’ undead chest to finally rid the earth of the blood-sucking ghoul . . . you deserve my respect.

A few months ago I found two David Soul LPs in a box inside a charity shop. They looked well maintained and had obviously been cherished. The previous owner must have had great respect for his / her records and was a David Soul fan.

I bought both the albums and they’re now rightly preserved in my ‘Junk Box Jury’ archive with an online presence.

All of his hits are here on this cheap K-Tel compilation, so if well produced and radio friendly love ballads and soft-country tunes are your bag . . . ‘Moods’ is going to delight you on a rainy day indoors.
