This obscure series of ‘Non Stop Hits’ remakes appears to be quite difficult to find in the North East of England. Volume 6 is the only one I’ve found in junk shops during the last couple of years.

Sub-titled ‘The Mike Morton Sounds’ and linked with the ‘World Top 12’ series of compilations, these studio musicians deliver faithful renditions.

There are plenty to choose from on here but my advice is to boil the kettle and add the steaming hot water to a bowl of Smash granules.
