This album has three numbers written by the on-fire songwriting partnership of Chinn and Chapman. The Summer of 1974 was certainly all their’s as they lay on soft cushions, sipping French wine and seeing the royalties rolling in.

“The Six Teens” by The Sweet, “Too Big” by the impish Suzi Quatro and the updated fifties rock and roll Glam of “Rocket”, a hit for Mud, get a run-out by the Contour session players and singers.

But whenever there is Rubettes action I’m always going to be there with my YouTube video to immortalise the recording performance.
