HOT HITS

Curved Air | Cover Version | “Back Street Luv”

Taken from the LP ‘Hot Hits – Volume 7’ | (Music For Pleasure MFP 5236) September 1971

It’s August and the start of the new football season. The ‘Hot Hits‘ crew obviously thought it was important to send a buxom blonde dollybird to Stamford Bridge to kick a few ball around.

Some of the publicity shots ended up on the front and back cover of their latest LP set of hit record cover versions.

Back cover credits include:

Football sportswear and footballs from Lillywhites Limited, Piccadilly Circus, W1
Photographic location: Chelsea F.C., Stamford Bridge

The track I’m highlighting is a version of “Back Street Luv”, a No. 4 hit for Curved Air. Solid production with demented fuzz and organ.

Any questions and feedback about the material posted on my website let me know by using the contact form provided.
